  • IGMA STUDY PROGRAM CLASS

    August 3-5, 2016

    I will be teaching a class in Teaneck New Jersey for the upcoming IGMA Study Program which will be focusing on objects in collections of The Brooklyn Museum.

    Students will MAKE A MINIATURE MONTEITH BOWL inspired by Dutch Delftware seen at the museum.

    Demonstrations on mold making, slip casting, and ceramic decorating will be included in class time.

    The Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City

    The Museum's first artist-in-residence is Lee-Ann Chellis Wessel, who specializes in porcelain, pottery, and egg tempera paintings from the Italian Renaissance. During her week in residence Lee-Ann will create a studio in the fine-scale miniature gallery so that Toy and Miniature Museum visitors can watch her work.
